Hamblin Trust (The)

The Hamblin Trust is a registered charity dedicated to enriching people's lives through positive thinking. It exists to perpetuate the spiritual message and vision of Henry Thomas Hamblin, a vision held by all the great ones throughout the ages. Hamblin's essential message was that if we learn to live in the Divine Consciousness, then our whole outer lives will change to reflect that Consciousness. Hamblin published a number of books and a spiritual course which has been made available to thousands throughout the world.

Bosham House is the spiritual home of the Trust. This is a spiritual sanctuary set in acres of gardens in West Sussex. Pilgrims are welcome to find rest and recuperation and to attend the varied programme of events. These include talks, workshops, and meditations.

The Trust continues to publish the bi-monthly magazine Hamblin started in 1921, now called New Vision. The magazine has a broad multi-faith perspective, featuring articles on mythology, the environment, philosophy and theology. Each magazine has a monthly "theme" based on the spiritual courses of HT Hamblin.

Visitors are welcome to the offices and grounds by appointment. We have a varied monthly programme of events, including monthly talks, inspiring monthly meditations and workshops on spiritual topics. Do join us. Our beautiful Hall and consultancy rooms, fashioned entirely from lovely wood are now available for rent.

The artist can ‘become’ as a result of his thinking, but should he only observe and invent, rather than think himself into a painting? The new comes from insight, from the now, in an instance in stillness, not when time has had the opportunity to corrupt it.
